Shape Memory Effect: “Shape Memory” describes the restoration of the original shape of a plastically deformed sample upon heating.
Superelastic Effect: An elastic (reversible) responses to an applied temperature, caused by a phase transformation between the austenitic and martensitic phases of a crystal.
Nitinol is a metal alloy, it exhibits two closely related and unique properties: shape memory and superelasticity. We provide both types of nitinol strip & foil.

We offer Nitinol Strip (nickel titanium alloy strip, shape memory alloy strip, superelastic alloy strip) for special applications, enabling unusual design characteristics while maintaining all of the capabilities of wire.
Our continuous length nitinol strip is available in fully annealed or superelastic conditions, which work well in stamping, forming, and other secondary operations. Our strip & foil is manufactured to meet rigorous alloy composition, mechanical, and dimensional specifications.

Nitinol Foil-0.05mm
We offer Nitinol foil (titanium nickel alloy foil) with 0.002″ thinnest thickness, specification ASTM F2063.
Our continuous length nitinol foil is available in fully annealed or superelastic conditions, which work well in stamping, forming, and other secondary operations. Our foil is manufactured to meet rigorous alloy composition, mechanical, and dimensional specifications. Special process will be need for nitinol foil with <0.08mm thick.

Packing information for our nickel titanium alloy strip & foil
Our nitinol strip & foil is mostly packed in wooden crates, this can protect the products during transportation and handling. We can provide vacuum pack for some high precision nitinol parts. Cartons are used for small rolls of nitinol.
